When we have more voices like you and me at the table, we have more of an opportunity to effect change.
Immigrating to this country at 12, I know how it feels to be marginalized. Becoming a single mother at 19, I know what it’s like struggling to make ends meet. Serving people whose shoes I’ve walked in and our community for 20 years, I understand the real and systemic barriers to opportunity.
I want to serve as your state representative to create opportunity for you, me, and everyone in the 37th district.
COVID-19 Resources
The COVID-19 pandemic has radically changed our daily lives. From basic needs to long-term setbacks, this pandemic disproportionately affects communities of color and communities already faced with entrenched inequities.
It is very important to me to provide any and all assistance I can during this time. I’m also looking to the future and policy decisions that can create a healthier, more just, and prosperous district. My approach will match my current goals by leading with equity and using a people-first mentality that focuses on moral and monetary investments in the community and small businesses to harness the human potential of our vibrant district.
In the meantime, I’d like to share these practical resources with you. I invite you to reach out with questions, concerns, or needs.
